Best Review Book – AP Economics Macro and Micro Exams, 2018 Edition
We recommend buying Princeton Review’s combo book which has both Microeconomics and Macroeconomics in it. Since it has both, we chose it as the best AP macroeconomics review book.
If you’re taking AP Macroecon, you should also take the AP Microeconomics exam, so there’s no reason for you to spend money on 2 different books if one book is enough for the job.
It has information on everything you need for the exam, and it includes two practice tests in total: one for Macro and one for Micro.
We are also really impressed that The Princeton Review corrected some of the mistakes that were pointed out in the previous year’s edition.

Self-Study Tips
Both AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics are very popular exams to self-study for, as you can start studying a week before and still get an easy 5.
We recommend going through the Crash Course book and taking their online test to see how you do.
After that, you can skim through the Princeton Review book, take one more practice test, and you should get a 5 on the exam if you review the terms and formulas from Crash Course on the day before the exam.
